And still they don't want to be called racists.

do you think the policeman was racist?
if so, do you think that a black cop who shoots a white man is racist?

=====================
Let me try again. Equating a death by police officer against an unarmed person -- to the crimes committed by civilians against each other is 1) silly, stupid, uninformed and a stretch. 2) that conversation?? turns racist when the comparison is about black on black crime against a white on black killing by a person who is sworn to protect and serve.
I don't know if the cop is a racist. I know that the comments made on message boards, especially here are racist. What does black on black civilian crime have to do with this crime. This is about POLICE, policing standards, reasons for pulling a gun or not.
As for the crime that was posted on this thread -- it's horrible. I don't know if it was racist? It seems opportunistic and very stupid. Not just pointless, which it was, but stupid. Did they even get 10 feet away?

Most are making the same type of comments (not quite as stupid but almost) you see here. They keep comparing black on black crime or crimes committed by blacks against whites.Police officers (if they are white) should not be held to a higher standard that everyone else (assuming the dead person is black).And still they don't want to be called racists.
