For whatever species eventually takes our place, maybe, after we've finished making the planet uninhabitable for our own and most other living species.

In the meantime, we've already turned our own country into a oligarchy, and the rest of the world seems to be headed towards becoming a plutocracy/corporatocracy/kleptocracy -- whatever you want to call it -- if they're not already there.

Walk away from it.   Because it is not the truth of what is going on right now.  There are wonderful changes being made in the relationships of peoples and nations and the world is changing for the better.    It looks like all is dark and lost, but it is the chaos of change.     And the change that is happening is wonderful.

Back off and look around with new eyes, read alternate sources, see what is really happening.
