Lead Hadoop Developer

Role Title/Description: We're looking for a Hadoop Development lead – someone who has participated as a lead architect on several projects and has hands-on Hadoop experience (e.g. Cloudera or Hortonworks). The lead would provide development oversight to a small onshore/offshore team (~5 developers) and would be responsible for overall architecture support during the design and build stages of the Lotus Notes Archival Migration to Hadoop and should be well versed with basic configurations and MapReduce programming. Will be required to assist writing custome UI code to create simple administrative/authorization tasks and interact with existing applications like single sign on. There will be a need to use HBase and Active Directory. The candidate would also be responsible for ensuring both requirements and expectations align with client expectations.
Skills Requirements/Nice to Haves:
- Must have 3+ years of LEADING Hadoop Developement Teams
- on/offshore experience

- Java, Flume, Solr, Visio,
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication
