Technical/Functional Skills: Informatica Developer/Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Senior Developer
Experience required:
• Minimum 5 years software solution development/deployment experience required, preferably in enterprise data quality projects
• Must have full lifecycle project experience as a developer in designing and developing Informatica plans & profiles in IDQ 9.X and in ETL design using Powercenter Informatica
• 5-7 years of industry experience in ETL design and development using Powercenter Informatica
• Experience in creating and deploying ETL framework and solutions using Powercenter Informatica required
• Deep understanding of Database (Oracle/ GreenPlum pivotal/SQL Server) and SQL concepts, standards and best practices required
• Experience using Informatica Data Quality 9.x including Address Doctor and IDE preferred
• Experience with Data Governance strongly preferred
• Experience deploying Data Quality Framework and Solutions preferred
• Data analyst experience performing data profiling, data mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis, use case, test cases, etc. preferred
• Proven experience translating business problems into actionable data quality and ETL initiatives
• Understanding of ETL solutions to load Data Warehouse/Data Marts is required
• Exposure to reporting tool like Business Objects, SpotFire preferred
• Strong Analytical skills required
Roles & Responsibilities:
• The scope of work performed includes data profiling, data cleansing and address standardization, validation and cleansing using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) 9.x
• The scope of work would revolve mainly around usage of data quality tools to profile the project source data, define or confirm the definition of the metadata, cleanse and accuracy check the project data, check for duplicate or redundant records, and provide information on how to proceed with ETL processes.
• This position will have interaction directly with client functional subject matter experts to capture data standards and rules required to support existing BI/DW business process and operations.
• This role will also work closely with both development team members and the client's business data stewards to ensure the development objects are accurately defined and documented.
• The DQ Developer will also partner with data stewards to provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data.
• Familiarity with IDQ options and the ability to design and implement solutions.
• Experience with IDQ Content Options - built-ins to accelerate the implementation of DQ projects.
• Identifying areas where IDQ can be leveraged with the BI application. Implement automations and process improvements to standardize the current process
• Installing and Configuring IDQ

• Excellent communication skills and flexibility for on-call to facilitate discussions with offshore team and business.
• Rapid Sprint/deliverable planning abilities
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analysis skills are required.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes
• Ability to seamless integrate work with third party library/web service owners
