Java Developer to participate in agile development on the TaxMod project.

 

Complete Description:

Design, implement, conduct unit tests, contribute to the application development, and mentor the less experienced offshore team members when necessary.

 

 

Required Skills: (Cynthia, if needed you can also use these for the Technical Architect Req, add 3 years to each of these)

Advanced understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and UML. –  years

Experience with Spring, Hibernate (or other JPA libraries), Ehcache, and Terracotta/Coherence. – years

Experience with relational database platforms preferably Oracle 11g. –  years

Experience developing multi-threaded and distributed systems. – years

Experience working on performance and scalability issues in large-scale enterprise systems. –  years

Experience using common source code control tools, especially SVN. –  years

Experience with continuous integration development environments. –  years

Good working knowledge of AJAX and javascripts frameworks. – years

Working familiarity with common server operating systems, especially Linux. –  years

Agile software development experience: Scrum Process, Extreme Programming (XP –  years

Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA –  years

Experience with XML related technologies, especially XSL/XPATH and DTD/Schema. – years

Experience with Java XML APIs, especially WWWC DOM and dom4j. –  years

Experience with Web Services (SOAP and/or REST –  years

Experience deploying and troubleshooting Apache & Oracle Weblogic servers. – years

Experience with Open Source technologies, projects, and communities. –  years

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field.
