TITLE: Sr. Project Manager Information Technology

LOCATION: Torrance, CA

EXPERIENCE: 10+Years

DURATION: 6+Months

Job Description:

Responsibilities

·         Hands-on project manager for project support across quality, cost, delivery, team morale, and more areas for  critical projects

·         Documentation of key deliverables based on the business/security processes including project plans, planning calendars, presentations, requirements, communication plans, budgets, end user training, policies, meeting minutes, and other documents

·         Handles broad project and tactical communications (by phone, email, meetings, etc.) with project team members and other stakeholders for the Team/Program Leads

·         Works closely with small regional planning virtual team or larger teams in meeting the project objectives

Daily Tasks Performed

MUSTS

•             Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent degree

•             Proven successes in a PM position in the last few years and 8-10 years of PM experience managing small and large North American and global information systems or security projects

•             Expertise in analyzing and helping to create IT/business processes, guides, procedural documentation, business/technical specifications, use case definition, project presentations, user guides, and detailed flows

•             Expert in Windows MS Office Suites, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio

•             Must be able to make real-time changes reflecting the input and decisions made in meetings

•             Must have have 8-10 years of online project management tools experience (preferably with Open Workbench)

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

•             Strong understanding of overall IT or software development life cycle and/or software development methodology

WANTS

•             PMI certification as PMO

•             Knowledge of government regulations governing information security (SOX,HIPAA, GLBA, etc.) and security best practices (NIST, ISO, etc.)
