Job Description

·         In this role, you will be part of our Client's Technology team delivering Enterprise SDLC tools and reporting solutions for internal consumption across all of enterprise technology teams. 

·         As an application developer, you will be primarily responsible for providing technical design, development and support of a custom SharePoint application. 

·         You will play a key role in the analysis of the existing SharePoint solution and plan and implement a migration to new versions of SharePoint.

·         Ideal candidates will be self-driven and capable of working independently to solve problems under pressure and to manage multiple projects/priorities under time constraints

Job Responsibilities

·         Analyzing current SharePoint 2007 environments and provide guidance on effective migration path to SharePoint 2013 and beyond.
Participate in the full lifecycle of software application integrations and implementations, taking on roles beyond that of a developer when necessary

·         Designing prototypes and leading proof of concepts

·         Working with end users to define requirements and new feature requests

·         Design and implementation of development requests

·         Participate in the full lifecycle of software application integrations and implementations, taking on roles beyond that of a developer when necessary.

·         Candidate must be comfortable being involved with business analysis and testing in addition to architecture and development.

·         Design and develop content management, records management, workflows, business intelligence type of solutions using the SharePoint 2013 platform.

·         Design and develop apps for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, JavaScript, OAuth, and OData.

·         Analyzing current SharePoint 2007 and 2010 environments and provide guidance on effective migration path to the SharePoint 2013 platform.

·         Field incoming requests for various request types that include

·         Design and develop prototypes for COE business partners

·         Lead Proof of Concepts

Major Tasks:

·         Migrate existing SharePoint customizations from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013+

·         Design and develop new SharePoint customizations based on business user input

·         Architect/Design/Develop streamlined APIs to add business capabilities to SharePoint applications

Job Requirement

·         3+ years working in a SharePoint development role

·         Desired skills/experience

·         ASP.NET Web Forms, C#

·         JavaScript / JQuery

·         HTML 5 / CSS 3.0

·         SharePoint solution development

·         API design and development experience
