Role: Project Manager with Govt Procurement exp
Exp:  10+yrs
Location : Detroit, MI
Duration : 8+months

The successful candidate will provide project management and data analysis and facilitate process improvement for the Procurement Department as they implement Prism software to build their Business Diversity program. The successful candidate must have a business focus with a technical understanding.
 
Scope of Services:
The Airport Authority is seeking qualified candidates who will utilize their knowledge and expertise to provide:
Leadership and project management to the Procurement Department, beginning with the full implementation of the Prism software.
Recommendations and report generation based on an analysis of data obtained from the Prism software.
Vendor and department training on use of the software.
Process improvement skill
 
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful Consultant should have a business background, good interpersonal communications skills and a strong focus towards customer service in addition to:
A  4-yr college degree
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and managing project deliverables
A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in the field of Technology
A minimum of 3 years analyzing data and generating reports
Experience with Process Reengineering
Strong written and oral communication skills
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in government procurement
Experience working in an industry that is federally regulated
Experience with Prism software
PMP certification
