Must Haves:

·         10+ years working extensively as a SQL DBA or Developer

·         SQL Server 2014 (Enterprise environment but doesn't have to be clustered)

·         SQL Cube and ETL optimization

-SSIS

-SSAS

Pluses:

·         Azure (what they use to virtualize environment)

 

 

Day to Day:

Our client is looking for someone who can come in and performance tune queries for a large SQL cube.  Their current cube they developed is taking on an onslaught of data and it can't keep up with the growing amount of data. They currently have the steps they need to take to performance enhance/tune the cube but they need someone who can come in and do it. After this they're hoping this candidate can help them with future scalability of it as they get larger customer with bigger amounts of data.
