Business Analyst for International Money Transfers

End of 2016 contract

 

Banking experience needed

International money transfer background – nice to have

Role:

·         Analysis and documentation of the current environment.

·         Identify current processes and determine issues and gaps.

·         Identify solutions to issues and gaps in terms of business process re-engineering and/or technical implementation.

·         Interact and act as a liaison between business and technology teams.

·         Implement simple/ quick technology solutions

Skills:

·         6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a banking financial organzation.

·         Must have experience in working in a combination of the following fields in banking and finance:

·         Treasury , International Payment, Wires , ACH , SWIFT.

·         Business analyst with technology background. Ability to articulate business requirements in technology terms.

·         Experience in business process re-engineering

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent education and related training

·         Six or more years of experience in a technical business analyst role or equivalent, with Payment processing systems, Foreign Exchange systems, or S.W.I.F.T. knowledge

·         Understanding of bank operations systems and procedures

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

·         Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications and software tools

·         Ability to work independently

·         Basic network knowledge and understanding of system architecture 

·         Basic understanding of Unix, Windows Server, and Mainframe architecture, as well as understanding of Windows, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Structured Query Language (SQL)
