Our Client, a world leading Financial Services firm, has an Immediate Opportunity for an Experienced Java/UI Spring Applications Developer to join their team in Chicago IL on a long term contract basis.  The selected candidate will have proven expertise (7+ years) with the following:   ·         Financial Services (Equities, Commodities) Domain Expertise ·         Java Development and User Interface Development ·         Large Complex Batch Processing - Spring ·         DB2 and SQL ·         Capable of extracting Large/Complex Data from Batch runs, deploying on UI   Additional Experience Preferred: Middleware on Mainframe (MQ, Websphere Application Developer-WSAD) Java Client Server:  Java, Javascript, JSP, Servlets, Jbuilder, JFC, CORBA, Visual SourceSafe Windows Client Server:  Win32, Visual C++, MFC, ActiveX, COM Mainframe:  Java on Mainframe, CICS, UC4 Scheduler, Brio, Mobius, RoboHelp, LDAP   As a Senior Applications Developer:  - Mentoring Developers with application business, systems and Architecture - Responsible for Program Design, Coding, Testing, Debugging, Documentation - Implementing Solutions to complex problems including Applications Performance - Supporting/Determinig Project Plans for SDLC - Providing real-time support including Disaster Recovery - Code Reviews and Application Transition - Consultative skill in as is/to be and lessons learned - Technology selection/rationale
