We are looking for Sharepont senior developer to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is 3-6 Months Contract based in Peapack, NJ
Role: Sharepont senior developer
Location: Peapack, NJ
Duration: 3-6 Months Contract
Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 6 years in Information Technology.
Preferred:
• At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
• Analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Responsibilities:
• Gathers client user and design requirements for the SharePoint applications (using Out of Box Features and Sharepoint Client Object model).
• Develops, Designs, Test and implements all user requirements for new SharePoint applications. This will include SharePoint site updates and design work as well as workflow / reporting needs. Winshuttle Workflow and CorasWorks (third party SharePoint applications) might be used as part of this.
• Customizing the site look and feel using Sharepoint designer
• Works closely with 'Integrated Solutions team' and Client and follow all standards and guidelines of all development/enhancement.
• Facilitates the transition of the new applications from development phase to support phase (SLC lifecycle). This will include the creation of necessary documentation to be posted into client's document repository and any technical documentation that the team will need to provide support in the future.
• Implements global standards for the site / application support including setting up documentation standards as per client's standards.
• Coordination with compliance and the business to qualify/commission changes to user requirements.
• Transition / Training to the 'Integrated Solutions team' and Client team on all new development and enhancement work. This will include a detailed review of the supplied documentation of the new / enhanced SharePoint site/application.
• Must be able to manage several SharePoint projects at once, as many projects occur simultaneously.
• Will be responsible as lead developer to help manage SharePoint projects where there are other SharePoint resources within the team working on project deliverables.
