Requirement:

 

Title                 : Devops Admin

Location          : RTP, NC

Duration         : Long Term

Description:

1. Understand the IBM BlueMix deployment / configuration scripts / installers. Make small changes as required for customizations.
2. Maintain a Local or Dedicated instance of BlueMix to ensure that there are regular updates being received from the public instance.
3. Deploy , manage, optimize applications deployed in BlueMix cloud
4. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with BlueMix deployment and / or BlueMix App deployment
5. Help identify patterns for automation of application deployments using BlueMix features

 
The skill details are as follows:

• 2 years of experience with deploying apps or infrastructures in cloud based envs (softlayer and/or openstack preferred but not necessary) 
• minimum of 2 years of Linux experience
• minimum of 2 years of experience in a virtualization technology
• 2 years' experience in deploying, configuring and triaging OpenSource technologies (…similar but not limited to apache, linux, nginx, ruby, bash, Cloud Foundry, bosh)
• experience with CD/CI processes and tools (preferred but not limited to UCD, Jenkins) 
• experience working in an environment driven by agile methodologies
