Role: Senior Web Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 months (Up to 2 years)
Rate: $70 - $75/hr c2c
Description:
As a Sr. Web Developer, you will work on a high-priority project with a team of talented UI and API developers on an inspiring mission to build a customer facing UI, from scratch, using cutting-edge technologies, like Angular, Ruby, and Cassandra, in an Agile and CI/CD environment. This initiative is one of the top-5 priority projects for the company and has committed work for next 2 years.
Skills & Experience:
- Expert knowledge of all parts of the web stack – i.e. HTML/OOJS/CSS, web servers, app servers, caching, and database, with emphasis on web development with AngularJS
- Situationally Aware – first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management, if necessary
- Collaborative – effectively works across multiple teams to achieve desired outcomes of a given project
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment
- Passionate for continuous improvement of processes and software, well versed with complete software engineering lifecycle and practices like Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Continuous Integration/Delivery
