HP-UX System Engineer with AIX Admin skills:
***** All candidates must have EXCELLENT communication skills ******
***** PRIMARY focus is strong HP-UX skills. Secondary focus is AIX. Please ensure all candidates are HP-UX experts *********
Qualifications Required experience:
· 7-10 years of experience in HP-UX Unix administration at small and medium scale environments.
· Troubleshooting database, application and services on HP-UX.
· Extensive HP-UX networking knowledge including but not limited to VLANs, bonding, link aggregation.
· Install, configure, patch and automate HP-UX server builds using Ignite.
· 3-5 years of experience in IBM AIX Unix administration at small and medium scale environments.
· System migrations (P2V Migrations) in the IBM AIX and HP-UX environments
· Expert in installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AIX and HP-UX servers.
Tech Specs:
· HP-UX Architect and System Administrator
· HP-UX Ignite implementation
· HP-UX B.11.x
· FCoE Technology
· EMC Storage implementation
· Script writing
· Kerberos, LDAP, Centrify
Preferred Job Qualifications:
· Experience with Redhat, SuSe a plus
· IBM AIX Virtualization (PowerVM/VIO/HMC/LPARs/NPIV/SEA)
· Single-Sign-on implementation experience (Centrify)
· Linux Support
