Job Title: SQL Server DBA/Developer ETL

Location: San Ramon, CA

Duration:12 Months.

This role will be responsible for the maintenance and up-time of SQL Server Database on cloud environment. The person will work closely with database development team and application development team.

Responsibilities:

Current hands-on experience in database administration and support of MS SQL Server 2012/2008R2 in Cluster Server Environments

Experience in RDBMS database design, performance tuning, optimization, backup and recovery in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012

Implement high availability of the various servers using replication/mirroring

Responsible for fine tuning of the databases, troubleshooting, user administration, memory management, and running DBCC

Experience in using ETL tools like SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

Hands on experience in writing  T-SQL and stored proceduresExperience in database administration activities for DB security (creating logins, users, roles, and assigning permission to them)

Experience performing administrative tasks: database files management, backup/restore, security management, database mirroring, data integration and synchronization

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, data manipulation.

Highly knowledgeable in data, Data modeling concepts and technologies
