Position:  APPLICATION TESTER

Location: SUNNYVALE, CA

Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)

Experience: 5-8 YEARS

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Should possess sound knowledge of the legal domain and Team Connect and able to handle legal Business Rich experience in testing client-server & web-based applications

·         Good experience on Apple tools and processes Proficient in analyzing the Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Functional Requirements Document (FRD)

·         Extensive experience in creation of test plan, test efforts estimates, test cases and bug Reporting

·         Thorough hands on experience with all levels of testing including Functional Testing, performance testing, Integration testing, System Testing, Regression testing and User acceptance testing.

·         Expert in Defect management tools Substantial experience in Team management, Issue resolution and setting up testing team / process from scratch.

·         Motivated self-starter and a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills UAT support

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Application Testing:

·         Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.

·         Develops and executes software test plans. Analyses and writes test standards and procedures.

·         Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

·         Analyses test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

·         Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

·         Works on problems of limited scope, through usage of standard programming concepts and principles.

·         Works under high supervision/guidance with frequent review of accomplished objectives.

·         Expected to learn on the job towards developing domain knowledge along with technical/ proprietary skills.

Test Automation:

·         Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools.

·         Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client.

·         Should be capable to create the required automationframework to the client.

Web Testing:

·         Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc.

·         Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage

Application Testing:

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.
