2 Android Developers - Local candidates only that could interview this week or early next week and can start ASAP.

Location: San Francisco , CA

Duration: 4month+ contract, extension dependent on performance.

Senior Software Engineer, Android - Contract

Responsibilities:

• Develop new versions of Vungle's Android SDK which is integrated into 50,000+ apps and runs on hundreds of millions of devices

• Lead the architecture and design of SDK features to support new ad formats, high-performance real-time streaming video delivery, etc.

• Contribute to design and development of the Vungle API that supports the SDK

• Work closely with integration engineers to support various publisher apps

• Solve challenging problems in the areas of on-device caching, memory management, multi-device support and more

• Maintain SDK stability supporting multiple Android versions and devices

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of proven software development experience and 3+Android skills development

• Proven working experience in Android app development

• Experience with Android SDK

• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

• Git or another version control system

• Experience building libraries is a plus
