Position: Oracle Business Intelligence Application ( OBIA) Developer
Location: Annapolis, MD
Duration: 2 years
Job Description:
Must have Oracle Business Intelligence Application architecture, design, development experience, to include report, ad-hocquery, and dash board development, OBIEE development, extensive Data modeling experience in Warehouse Star Schema/Snow flake schema design, Design and develop Repository (RPD), Fact and Dimension stables, Physical and Logical Data Modeling. Ability to Build Dashboard and Ad hoc reports, ETL/Data integration using ODI and Oracle as a data source (PeopleSoft required).
Programming and Deployment in Oracle database, and strong Oracle SQL.PL/SQL Skills.
Also must have experience in AIX/UNIX platform version6 &7, PeopleSoft financials and Tools 8.53.19, Oracle Security, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Data Integrator, and Active Directory integration, and OBI Foundation Suite Certification.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- · Create database, and install Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition with Repository Utility (OBIEE RCU)
- · Install Oracle Database Integrator (ODI),OBIA and RCU
- · Install business intelligence application software, patches for OBIA, WebLogic, Applications
- · Technology Group (ATG) patch, Client and ODI tools.
- · Configure Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and OBIA Client tools, OBIA Data Loader, OBIA Apps Instances.
- · Configure Source System (PeopleSoft)
- · Create, manage and execute initial load plan
- · Create, manage and execute incremental load plans
- · QA environment validation
- · Production environment validation
- · Integrate Security to include Security standards, Single Sign On (SSO) and Active Directory
- · Define standard Dashboards available and test in QA environment
- · Migrate standard Dashboards and associated changes to Production Environment
- · Knowledge Transfer to Maryland Judiciary, all knowledge transfer will include at least a daily touch base which includes what tasks are to be accomplished that day, the steps involved and the commitment to explain each step during the task to the"shadow"from Maryland Judiciary
- · List of required documentation deliverables to be approved by OBIA project manager.
- · Design document
- · Knowledge transfer document
- Phase II -Design and Develop up to 10 custom dashboards and associated reports in QA and in production environment against standard OBIA Model (Custom Reports 10).
Deliverables:
Work with the PeopleSoft Financials technical and functional staff to gather requirements and define Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's).

- · Deploy to QA region (Web catalog)
- · Migrate10 Custom Dashboards and associated changes to Prod Environment
- · Production Validation
- · Knowledge Transfer to the clients, all knowledge transfer will include at least a daily touch base which includes what tasks are to be accomplished that day, the steps involved and the commitment to explain each step during the task to the"shadow"from the office.
