Job Description:
The client is looking for a certified SalesForce Administrator for Application Production Support of multiple instances of SalesForce. This position requires excellent communication skills, to be able to research, coordinate, facilitate and document technical steps to resolve problem and/or outage conditions. This position may require working odd shifts that include early mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Basic Skills Requirements:
Be able to respond to critical and non-critical trouble tickets reported through CMIS within 15 minutes and resolve within 2 hours or negotiated time.
Be able to respond to non-critical problems tickets reported through CMIS within 2 hours and resolve within 8 hours or negotiated date and time.
Be able to research problems, identify severity, follow established procedures to respond to situation appropriately using critical thinking skills and technical expertise to resolve independently and try to keep escalation to focal points or lead to a minimum, while maintaining good judgment in determining the urgency of the problem and when to escalate the problem to the appropriate focal point or lead.
Be able to identify and explain root cause of system and application problems and effectively communicate these both verbally and in writing.
Update support log with problem descriptions and resolution steps and create other online system documentation as necessary.
Perform Crisis Management during outages and critical activities, as the situation dictates.
Be able to perform code installations.
Be knowledgeable in SalesForce tools and commands used for trouble shooting application, web server, database and other problems to determine severity and establish a fast path to resolution independently or with little assistance from other team members.
Be able to run and analyze application healthcheck scripts and respond appropriately and within reasonable timeliness to problems identified.
Perform other unspecified tasks assigned by WPAS manager and/or Application Focal Point lead or others, as designated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree (preferred Computer Science)
5+ years of experience functioning as a senior Salesforce.com administrator/developer for
Enterprise edition or higher (preferably at mid to large, multi-dimensional organization)
2 years of experience supporting and working with users to resolve issues
Perform User Maintenance activities (roles, profiles, permission sets, etc.)
should be well versed with the SalesForce declarative interface
Salesforce.com Admin 201 Certification is required
Detailed knowledge of Sales Force architecture and security mechanisms
Experience writing SOQL and SOSL queries
