Job Description | Core Competencies, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: - 3 years supporting System Center Configuration Manager
- 4 years doing packaging applications
- 3 years' experience doing application patching and updating
- 6+ years' experience supporting Windows Enterprise customers in a large-scale (300+ node) environment.
- 3+ years providing CRM client support
- 6+ years supporting MS Outlook, Calendaring and related Office applications
- 6+ years supporting LAN/WAN clients
- 6+ years supporting Wi-Fi devices
- 6+ years supporting Audio/Visual devices and video conferencing
- 3 years desktop system engineering experience
- Strong communications skill. Ability to clearly communicate with customers using appropriate non-technical explanations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Primary): | - Responsible for managing operating system images, drivers, BIOS updates and patches via SCCM 2012
- Responsible for application packaging, updating and roll out of new applications via SCCM 2012
- Create and manage Desktop related Active Directory Group Policy objects
- Candidate must be highly skilled engineering, administering, and configuring Microsoft SCCM 2012 and utilizing it for software, patch, and operating system deployment
- Work with System Support analysts to design, test, implement and maintain company-wide standard desktop / laptop images
- Responsible for managing third party vendors to deliver desktop solutions and services and integrate systems / applications / hardware for new products and upgrades
- Solve incidents and requests or refer to other IT groups when necessary
- Build, configure, maintain (patch), repair and manage new and existing systems for employees
- Develop, maintain and deploy standard system images
- Develop, maintain and deploy software distribution packages
- Assist in requirements definition and research for new desktop computing solutions
- Provide client side support for the resolution of virus attacks and spyware infestations and data encryption events
- Provide support to System support specialists as and when required for Desktop related activities
- Perform e-mail account administration tasks including account setup and maintenance, password resets, basic feature training, and archiving
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and other systems as required according to established policies and procedures
- Perform basic backup tasks related to Medivation's laptops and desktops
- Build and Support the VMWare Virtual desktop environment (VDI)
- Partner with 3rd party vendors to manage desktop engineering and helpdesk resources
- Strong experience with patch management process in a regulated and non-regulated environment
