Job Title: Sr. Java Developer

Job Type: Full Time/Contract Both

Job description

Sr. Java Developer has a real passion for software development with an agile mindset. A qualified candidate will have extensive experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Node.JS, Hibernate and most of the Java EE stack technologies.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Prerequisites

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject

·         Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development

·         Minimum 5 years of experience with Java and J2EE technology stack

·         Strong command of English language (both verbal and written)

Technical skills and experience

·         Proficient in object oriented design principles and automated testing strategies for web applications

·         Expert on one or more of these frameworks i.e. Spring, Spring Boot,Node.JS,Play

·         Experiences of code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security

·         Operational knowledge of multiple application and web servers like Tomcat, WebSphere etc.

·         Knowledge of Solr search engine

·         Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, JSON

·         Proficient with the use of Microservices based architecture

·         Experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Rake, Ant, Sonar etc.

·         Knowledge of performance testing tools - JMeter

·         Knowledge of Automation testing tools - Selenium Webdriver

·         Knowledge of agile software development process

·         Knowledge of DevOps practices, docker containers, building automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code etc

Non-technical competencies

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions

·         Distinct customer focus and quality mindset

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Excellent relationship building skills

·         Ability to work under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities
