Utilize large excel spreadsheets as "tactical plans" – basically extensive worklists with different pick categories, descriptions, statuses, timelines, due dates, resource links, etc. We are going through a business team reorganization and we'd like to go from planning as functional groups (process, technical, mechanical, etc) to planning as business support groups (e.g. the PMT team for one business support area would plan together). To do this, we need some sort of database that we can use to merge all the information and then pull reports according to different parameters (person, functional work group, business support area, due date, etc).
Allows bulk editing of multiple items at once (e.g. in spreadsheet format) – for example, update owner for all of X's items to Y
Allows setting up "reports" to view data according to functional groups, etc
Calculation function for % loading, % time spent on various activities, etc
Parent/child items – allows breaking one parent item into actions for multiple people
"people checker" linked to address book so we don't have to add users to a pick list for item owner
Multiple users access at same time
Edited date/time and user (e.g. time stamp for changes to each item)
Able to export to excel
