Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $44/hr on C2C
We are looking for very Strong in Spring & Hibernate
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Implements core Java/ Spring code to support Enterprise Applications and Services
2. Ability to solve complex analytical and logical problems. Come up with designs/solutions
3. Responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining projects in accordance to the AGILE model
4. Required to architect and design frameworks or components and then follow through with the coding, testing and integration of those components, usually working as part of a team, but sometimes on their own
5. Responsible for code quality and adherence to standards
6. Participate in design reviews and identify potential mitigation strategies for technical risks
7. Maintain and deliver complete project documentation in clear and comprehensive manner
8.Report status against the project plan and Possess ability to communicate clearly with project team
9. Able to work some flexible hours, as required by Project Manager, to meet project deadlines
10. Produce high quality code utilizing Test Driven Development techniques.
11. Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.

a. Technologies: Java 1.7, Spring, Hibernate, Adobe Flex, REST & SOAP Web Services,
b. SCM Products : GIT, STASH,
c. Agile Methodolgy
d. Software Tracking Tool : JIRA
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
Professional Experience :
Minimum 5+ years of experience developing complex, high-performance enterprise software using Java/J2EE technologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Should be able to explain each detail/ tool/ framework included in resume.
Should show enthusiasm about the interview process and affinity to Cognizant.
Candidate should have strong consulting background and have
• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience in an agile design/development environment
• Experience in software application workflow design
• Web application design
• Some graphic design required
• MS Surface, iPad experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal English
• A positive outlook, a passion for software engineering and the ability to work as part of a team
Nice to Have/Desired Skills:
1. Must have hands-on Enterprise Java development experience.
2. Should have experience or a keen interest in developing applications using Spring, Hibernate, GIT and common integration testing frameworks.
3. Should have experience with RESTful services and have a solid understanding of how to profile enterprise applications for performance bottlenecks.
