Title: Senior Java Developer (Product Information Management or Content Management or Asset Management)
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Duration: 12 Months

Must have 9+ Years of experience

- Will collaborate with a team of off-shore or on-site developers and business analysts to ensure quality and timely project completion.

- Will understand and capture business/technical requirements and translate them into functional and design elements.

- Will create high level technical design documents

- Wil maintain, enhance and extend both existing application as per requirements

- Think out of the box and design concrete, robust and scale-able solutions

- Self-starter with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Strong working knowledge of PIM (Product Information Management) and/or Content Asset Management systems. 

Must have 8+ years experience in application development

5+ years in JEE, SOA / Web Services, and web client side development

 

Desired Skills:

- Five or more years of enterprise Java development experience.

- Demonstrated in-depth experience core Java as well as Java web application technologies, especially in the areas of writing high performance, reliable and maintainable code.

- Must have 5+ or more years of experience with Java, JEE, EJB, JAXP, XSLT, JSP, Struts, AJAX and HTML/CSS.

- Must have experience in object-oriented analysis, design and programming, Java/JEE design patterns, Service oriented architecture, and Web Services using JAX-RPC/JAX-RS.

- Must have experience working with Websphere Application Server or WebLogic Application Server

- Working knowledge/hands on experience with JSON, javascript APIs i.e. JQuery, DOJO, or YUI along with experience with implementing AJAX based solutions is desired.

- Experience with various open source libraries like Apache Commons, Tomcat, JCACHE (ehcache, memcache, JCS, etc.) is desired.

- Experience with any/all of the following is a PLUS:  Endeca, Pentaho, Agility Multichannel, Slivercreek, Oracle PDQ, Oracle RDMS, MS SQL Server.

- Testing through presentation tier with JUnit or other testing frameworks.

- Experience working in fast paced, challenging and agile environments preferably SCRUM
