Infrastructure Engineer
Location- Santa Clara Valley

Ideal candidate would be experienced in the following areas:
installing systems: rack, stack, cable, power
provisioning servers: DHCP, PXE boot, OS maintenance, security patches
maintaining servers: DNS, LDAP, puppet, git
maintaining storage: GPFS, NFS, object storage, DS replication
networking: router and switch configurations, authentication, load balancing
logging: Splunk, elastic search, or equivalent clustered searchable logging facility
alerting: Nagios, Pager Duty, or equivalent event driven alerting mechanism
monitoring: Epic, MTRG, or equivalent graphical representation of environmental data points
automation: perl, python, ruby, shell, as needed to minimize repetitive tasks
documentation: create diagrams, designs, and operation run books
optimization: OS level deep dive, to ensure all resources are used efficiently
Notes- must have skills in bold to aid recruiting efforts. Transferrable job titles when sourcing- SRE (Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, Sr. Systems Engineer. Main four skills are server, storage, network, and software.
