Position: PeopleSoft Functional consultant
Location: Annapolis, MD
Duration: 3 years
Objectives/Responsibilities
The contractor will
§ Develop solutions to complex problems
§ Trouble-shoot and resolve user issues
§ Provide customer Support working directly with the user community (whether one-on-one or in a training/workshop environment or with the subject matter experts)
§ Provide functional designs/specification documents for: Application enhancements, break/fix solutions, integration testing and user acceptance testing
§ Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance on best practices
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
Skills/Experience
The Contractor shall propose a candidate with:
· 7+ years in strong background in FSCM 9.1 and later in order-to-cash, AR/Billing, and General Ledger with strong SQL experience
· Experience in Order-to-cash, Billing, GL, AP·
· Understanding of accounting as related to Billing and Accounts Receivable transactions and how they are processed in PeopleSoft·
· Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors·
· Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly articulate ideas, solutions and recommendations at various levels including but not limited to senior management, business users, and IT team·
· Experience in system and bundle upgrades and testing· Strong SQL experience preferred
