Description:

o   *Microsoft Visual Studio - Visual Basic.Net OR C#.Net required
o   *Web development (using ASP.Net and Java scripts) or desktop/WCF/console app skills
§  The mix of web developers is expected to be about 20% of the .Net talent pool needs
o   *Microsoft SQL Server experience required – Specifically Transact SQL (writing SQL queries, updates, etc.)
o   Microsoft VB6 experience would be a plus
o   Microsoft TFS Source Code Management a plus
o   Oracle Database experience would be a plus 

General/Specific Skillsets of all software development contractors
•         *Familiarity with object-oriented design and development, including design patterns and effective use of interfaces
•         *Unit, integration and overall thorough testing skills
•         Senior level experience of 5-10 years preferred. Will consider a small subset of talented less skilled individuals.
•         Proven track record of analyzing and proposing alternatives and delivering results for relatively complex work.
•         May assist in mentoring, technical reviews or oversight of others
•         Is able to proactively contribute during business process analysis to create best-in-class software designs and programs. Energy industry experience a plus.
•         Agile specific
o   Experience working with agile software development processes with rapid iteration cycles (2-4 weeks)
o   Experience with and commitment to key development practices inherent to effective agile development, including: §  Continuous integration
