Job Description : The person hired into the PeopleSoft Financials Technical Consultant position will perform the following services in support of the project:
- Perform analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements, interface development, and data migration in support of the TDHCA CAPPS Financials 9.2 implementation. This includes software development in PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, COBOL, and Oracle.
- Communicate with effective, high quality writing skills and work well in a project team environment, with a polite, positive attitude and a focus on customer service.
- Perform other reasonable services as necessary to ensure that the project can be successfully carried out.
Requirements Minimum Skills Requirement in years
Years Skills/Experience
5 Programming experience with PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, and COBOL.
4 PeopleSoft Financials implementation and/or upgrade experience, including software development of Accounts Payable and Purchasing modules
4 Accounts Payable and Purchasing modules.
4 Experience with Oracle.
4 Experience with UNIX, Korn Shell, and data migration.
4 Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
1 Experience developing in a PeopleSoft 9.2 environment.
1 Experience developing reports with Crystal Reports and BI Publisher.
Degree Four-year college degree with a major in Computer Science or related degree

2 Experience with projects and software development involving CAPPS Financials.
