Job Description:

 

• We are seeking a  Java Lead  Engineer to help build out and maintain scalable and highly available distributed systems. 
  
• Candidates should have a passion for producing high quality code and elegant architecture. 
  
• In this role, you would be working with a Java application stack that leverages open-source and commercial software like Kafka, Couchbase, Memcached, Elastic Search, Druid and MySQL. 
  
• Candidates should at least be able to demonstrate practical knowledge on designing and implementing micro-service applications.

Job Description :

 

·         B.S. or equivalent education in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (M.S. degree is a plus)

·         5+ years of extensive server side 12 factor Java experience and solid Linux/Unix skills- MUST

·         open-source and commercial software like Kafka, Couchbase, Memcached, Elastic Search, Druid and MySQL- MUST

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Ability to work both independently and in a team based environment

·         Strong sense of ownership and proven track record of quality work

·         Can-do attitude and get things done on time and on budget

·         Exercise good judgment about which tools to use and when to use them

·         Ability to innovate while complying with existing standards and guidelines

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

 

Experience: 10 +  years.
