Position: Linux Administrator – L1+ Support
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Duration: Fulltime / 6-12 months
Summary:
We are looking for computer science graduate who has extensive experience in Linux administration and has good experience in application support.
Required Skills:
· Linux Expertise. ( 5+ year exp. )
· Perl/Shell Scripting . ( 2+ year exp.)
· Sound knowledge of Apache, tomcat and middle ware applications e.g. tuxedo .
· Basic knowledge of Oracle DB.
· Basic understanding of Virtualization .
· Basic knowledge of Release Management.
Job Description:
· Package release and deployments thru roll jobs: ( Tools in use: ControlM)
· Operational Support:( Monitoring Tools in Use Nagios , AAG , Solarwind for site availability)
· Application Support: Able to debug issues on java , Apache and middle-ware applications .
· Able to perform Root Cause analysis on critical and re-occurring issues.
