Role: Java Developer with Drools
Location: Denver, CO
Required Skill sets:
• Minimum 5-7 years of strong design & development experience
• Strong in Core Java (OOPS concepts, Strings, List, Collections, Exception handling, Logging, Input / Output Stream, Multi-threading )
• Should have working knowledge of JSP, Servlet, JSF, JDBC, webservices, Drools, XML, XSL, XSD, Javascript, Ajax ,JSon and JQuery and Oracle
• Design, Create and Maintain Java driven applications. GUI Frameworks like JSF, GWT and provisioning workflow applications experience would be preferred
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Collaborate with Business stakeholders & architects to design and code solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
• Experience in Agile Project Methodology is preferred
• Experience regarding build, optimization and post-live support
• Experience in Design Patterns Session fade, DAO, Singleton, Factory, Strategy, Builder and Creational
• Experience in tools like Eclipse, Maven and Dimension
• ServiceMix app server knowledge will be an added advantage
Roles & Responsibilities
• Participate in design and functional discussions with System Architects & System Analysts
• Design, Develop and Unit Test the work packages assigned
• Support various testing cycles till production support
• Work with offshore/near-shore locations on daily basis
• Should be quickly able to learn requirements to articulate into code and institutionalize with teams
• Understand the impact to the components and interfaces for various scenarios and liaise with interfacing teams to design and develop interfaces
