Job Responsibilities
· Customer expectation management, establishing an SLA with the customer and meeting those consistently, providing statistical periodic reports per Customer desire
· Project Reporting - external and internal
· Plan, Risks and Issues, Scope Management & Tracking statistics
· Adapting a project execution structure and process from a base Global Delivery Model
· Clearly defining project roles & responsibilities, escalation paths and ownership
· Actively participating in creation (or facilitation) of specifications
· Overseeing and ensuring validation on the technical architecture/specifications
· Actively participating in project sizing and resource requirements
· Establishing good project metrics, exit criteria by deliverable and project phase
· Establishing a Scope management process
· Sourcing the Tavant global team to construct project team
· Handling project execution remotely (offshore) working with the resident Project Manager
· Conducting periodic project meetings with client and project team
· Ensuring quality of the end deliverable
· Managing day-to-day team and personnel issues (onsite)
· Maintaining project costing metrics, comparing to proposal and taking necessary corrective actions
· Staging and executing User Acceptance of the end deliverable
· Establishing and executing the roll out strategy
· Building trust and relationships at all levels at customer organization, growing the account into a strategic, successful and referencible one
· Be the single point of contact for Tavant at the customer site
Required Skills
· Must have 10 + years of experience.
· Must have 4 + years of experience managing projects.
· Experience with consulting firms such as the Big four or the like is highly preferred
· Experience managing Internet based projects a must
· Good communication skills (written and oral)
· Good interpersonal skills with executive management
· Good Customer management skills:
· Proven methods to manage scope
· Manage risks and risk mitigation schemes
· Customer expectation management
· Adherence to processes and execution metrics
· Highly motivated and self-driven
· Impeccable delivery record
· Extremely good interpersonal skills
· Extremely good presentation skills
· One that takes charge and does what it takes to get the job done
· Mortgage/Banking domain experience is preferred
