Duration:  12 + Months

Client: Department of Information Resources (Texas A&M University (TAMU) )

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Developer Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Developer Analyst 1 Category, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas A&M University (TAMU) Engineering Experiment Station. 
          All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the TAMU.  TAMU may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TAMU will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).

     Special Requirements: Will be required to travel and work from Dallas-Fort Worth area 2- 4 days a week for the initial 3-6 months.  Travel to Dallas-Fort Worth from College Station will be reimbursed according to   State of Texas Travel Allowance and Reimbursement Rates.

II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

2	Programming, Embedded systems programming
1	Databases
1	Working on Linux based systems

        

            Preferences:

Years	Skills/Experience
3+	Programming, Object oriented programming
1+	C++ programming, debugging and design on Linux, knowledge of STL
1+	MySQL, database interfaces
1+	Networking, Virtual machines

 

III. TERM OF SERVICE:

Services expect to start as soon as possible and are expected to be completed by December 15, 2015.  Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 1000 to 2000 hours (an average of 40 hours per week for a term of 6 to 18 months.  This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
