QA Lead with Agriculture/ Manufacturing experience

| Project and Responsibilities | Would like to engage a Quality Assurance Leader for our program to implement a Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This individual resource will be expected to come in and quickly assess the current testing landscape and develop and execute a plan to address testing gaps. The ideal candidate will be a leader and a doer, and will be semi technical (e.g. proficient with SQL) as this role will be interfacing closely with developers and functional analysts.
Responsibilities include: · Working with program and project teams to define and create overall test strategy and ensuring that it is being achieved · Defining test processes within a master test plan for multiple work streams (e.g. SAP, Flexnet software, PLC's); partnering with multiple remote vendors to define test strategy · Overseeing all testers and testing activities for all projects within the Program, ensuring all testing standards are being met · Identifying test resources, estimating test effort and defining test schedule and milestones · Assisting team with implementing an effective defect management process · Assisting team with defining and documenting test cases and scenarios · Assisting RA's and Developers develop adequate acceptance criteria for each user story · Reviewing Project Artifacts as needed · Providing weekly status report that includes testing metrics · Working with development team to increase test automation as needed

| Skills / Experience: | · Senior level Quality Assurance Lead with successful track record on large programs · Good communication skills (written and verbal) · Excellent follow thru · Team player · Has a strong sense of urgency · Works well in an Agile (scrum) environment · Can lead and execute in parallel · Can manage multiple (sometimes conflicting) priorities · Thrives in a fast paced environment · Familiarity with SAP or MES is a plus · Experience coordinating with Engineering professionals is a plus · Experience coordinating with multiple, remote vendors is a plus
