Job Details:
10 years plus REQUIRES verifiable experience with Citrix Netscaler, in addition to certifications.
The Network Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining all company connections at a highly available, enterprise level and is involved in a mix of project work and system support. Additionally, the Engineer will be required to perform routing and switching implementation and support.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Implements and maintains network hubs, switches, and routers on the global LAN/WAN.
· Implements and maintains secure access to the Internet for users and for file transfers to vendors.
· Implements VPNs as needed for remote user access and site-to-site connectivity.
· Supports wireless connectivity for end users.
· Ensures all user network access is properly secured.
· Uses monitoring tools to identify network anomalies.
· Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and other system problems.
· Provides technical support to end users.
· Analyzes network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, and server function.

· Strong knowledge of Cisco switch and router hardware.
· In-depth knowledge of LAN switch technology (including Spanning tree, VTP, and HSRP).
· Understanding of VPN technologies, such as IPSEC and SSL.
· Working knowledge of IPv4, including RIP and OSPF.
· Working knowledge of QOS, IPS, NAC, VOIP and 802.11 Wireless.
· Ability to obtain and analyze packet traces.
· Ability to use systems such as SolarWinds or What'sUp to manage network devices.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
· Ability to use a help-desk program to manage customer issues
· Ability to use a change management system to implement change orders.
