As a member of the System Development Solutions team, individuals will be hands-on in the planning, design, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of various Retail LoB Contact Center applications including but not limited to Edify IVR, Nuance NLU IVR and backend system interfaces.
Team members are empowered professionals and will be the go-to subject matter expert for opportunities and direction. The ability to utilize existing life cycle methodologies including SDLC and AGILE processes, to achieve an overall successful project implementation from start to finish is rewarding. Having involvement in all levels of projects as well as in all levels of the application layers is a distinctive advantage. In addition, your growth in business knowledge while having both a detailed and big-picture view of the overall business and strategy is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and perform enhancements to IVR systems and applications
- Deliver error free, well tested code according to department standards
- Design detailed specifications for efficient programming according to department standards
- Participate in coding walk-thru's for peers ensuring department standards are adhered to
- Provide on-call technical support for applications and systems in a normal rotation
- Maintain systems documentation
- Lead technical discussions and training as part of the ADDI Academy on areas of expertise
- Deliver excellence in all aspects of the role as a model associate
- Build relationships with your peers, business users, and internal and external clients
- Drive and influence future business opportunities for supported systems
Qualifications:
- J2EE technologies(java, html, VXML) required
- JSF and Spring framework is preferred; All others considered (ie: Struts, Ajax)
- MyEclipse is the preferred IDE experience, but all others considered
- Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat and web services
- Source control tools such as Harvest is preferred; All others considered (ie: CVS, Subversion, Git)
- Knowledge of relational databases/data layer required; experience with MS-SQL and DB2 is preferred
- Knowledge of IVR hosted solutions, NICE Systems, and Avaya PBX preferred
- Analytical skills for problem solving, and ability to think creatively for solutions/ideas for perpetual improvement is a must in this fast paced environment
- Experience on host mainframe interaction using java enabled CICS and COBOL for services is a real advantage
- Understanding of connectivity logic for IP sockets is an advantage
- Understanding of network proxies, SSL, and general packet transport is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
- Ability to organize tasks and react to shifting priorities required
- Ability to identify, recommend and resolve solutions to problems is required
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required; equivalent technical training and experience considered
- Minimum of 5+ years experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting system applications required
