Position: Operation Research Project / Process Analyst

Duration : 3 to 6 month

Location : Santa Clara, CA

 

Job Description
• Apply optimization, simulation, statistical, game theory and data analytic techniques to develop strategic decision support tools
• Research and create network/business models
• Quantitative analysis
• Lead projects to implement new and enhance existing functionalities including articulating requirements and translating them into effective solutions
• System design analyses, testing, and training

Preferred Skills/Qualifications
• Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Game Theory or related disciplines
• 2+ plus years of relevant work experience with deterministic optimization methodology, including mixed integer programming, network flows, dynamic programming and approximation heuristics
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling a plus.
• Experience using tools like CPLEX, Gurobi, ExpressMP, SAS (OptModel) highly desirable.
• Must have advanced Excel skills as well as knowledge of VBA and SQL
• Strong track record of using analysis to deliver business results.
• Self-starter who can take charge of complex tasks with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication and able to work well in a very open team environment.
• Technology company experience preferred
