Title : Android Developer

Location : San Francisco, California

Duration :   6 months contract

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·         2+ years professional experience in developing mobile applications for Android or relevant experience.

·         Expertise in Android SDK, Java, and related technologies. Experience with APIs (OAuth, XML, JSON, REST, etc.)

·         Published app in Google Play

·         Experience in mobile application development

Responsibilities

·         Code, code, iterate and code some more

·         Build stuff, develop new ideas into demo-able products

·         Work with UX, art, engineering, and other partner teams

·         Drive rapid prototyping cycles – concept to working prototype in weeks, days and hours

·         Use stubs as needed to simulate capabilities lighting up in the near future.

 

Qualifications

·         2-4 years of experience in mobile application development.

·         2+ years professional experience in developing mobile applications for Android or relevant experience

·         Expertise in Android SDK, Java, and related technologies

·         Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis

·         Bonus - Published app in Google Play

·         Experience with APIs (OAuth, XML, JSON, REST, etc.)

·         Quick learner, with passion for new technologies

·         Passion for Mobile Apps and must love Android

·         Experience, ideas and opinions about emerging trends such as "Internet of Things"

·         Self-motivated and drive for excellence

·         MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent
