Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Washington DC.

Duration: 6 Months+

Visa: H1B/GC/USC

 

General Accountability : 

 

General responsibilities of the candidate would include development, testing and QA tasks and   His/her main responsibilities are listed below.

· Write Low Level Design, Unit Testing Plan and Unit Test case documentation

· Design, develop, code review, bug-fix and test the application

· Assist in Integration Testing

· Perform Code optimization and strictly adhere to bank coding standards

· Assist in any documentation or any artifacts needed for OIS clearance

· Coordinate day-to-day communication between teams in Cochin , Chennai and HQ

 

Skill Set Requirements : 

· Seasoned Sr. SAP developer, expert in SAP ABAP programming language. (Must)

· Solid knowledge in development and testing methodologies and quality practices.

· Good knowledge of STAR system especially FIFs and familiarity with other interfacing modules within SAP Like FI/CO.

· Experience in SAP cluster tables and cluster programming is required. (Must)

· Concrete experience in Interactive Reporting (ABAP OOPS), BDCs, Function Modules, Module Pool Programming, SMARTFORMS, RFC, User Exits & Enhancements and   Unicode based programming is required. (Must)

· Hands-on SAP ABAP code optimization techniques.

· Sound knowledge in SAP web service implementation. (Must)

· Interface knowledge with SAP Components like PI, BI and external web applications is a plus.

· Mobile development experience is added advantage.

· Knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 & Java Script is added advantage.

· Exposure to SAP Fiori – UX  is an added advantage.

 

Soft Skills :

·  Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to debug errors quickly and recommend sound solutions.

· Ability to do disciplined and detailed work.

· Selection Criteria:

· Candidate should possess at least 7 years development experience on moderate to highly complex business applications in SAP.
