Job Description:

 

Technology: Machine Learning, Text Mining, Clustering, Python, R, Scala, Elastic Search

8+ years of experience in algorithm or model development, experienced with text mining techniques and predictive modeling

 

Ø  Responsible for the completion of data science related tasks.

Ø  Must take direction from Analytics director and take lead of junior developers and/or data scientists on the project at assigned location.

Ø  Responsibilities may include:  Performing  text mining operations on extensive datasets, identifying relationships in the data, extracting key indicators of discrete phrases.

Ø  Must be able to understand machine learning techniques well in order to build a custom machine learning paradigm with director's guidance, must be able to perform quality assurance of the data, develop predictive models and be current on latest data analytic techniques.

Ø  A strong affinity for applying analytic methods to problem resolution is essential.

Ø  Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to write in Python and understand R at a minimum.

Ø  Operational knowledge of Elastic search is a big plus.

Ø  Knowledge of one or more statistical/visual packages such as SAS, SPSS, Spotfire or Mathlab is also desirable.
