Role: Android Developer

Location: Mountain View CA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Requirements

·         BS / MS computer science

·         6-8 years of relevant experience

·         Experience on Android OS platform as Android App Developer, SW Release Engineer

·         Experience with Git and Maven

 

Responsibilities

·         Android SDK Build and Release Engineer

·         Overall SDK Branch Management

·         Create and manage branches for SDK, Libraries, and documentation as it relates to the SDK.

·         Verify bugs are making it into the branches / builds

·         Manage merging changes back into main branches after releases.

·         Jetpack / Support Lib

·         Package and push libraries via adrt

·         Generate API diffs

·         Ensure Git branch is up to date

·         Tools

·         Stage builds for testing

·         Ensure all test have been ran

·         Bug routing: ensure bugs found in testing get routed into the correct teams and are resolved appropriately.
