Position : FileNet Admin

Location : Hartford CT

Duration : Long Term Contract

Job Description and Experience:

• Administration of the ECM FileNet Environments.
  
• Aid in the creation and configuration of additional IBM FileNet environments for the State's ECM System.
• Assist in Architectural reviews.
• Support new agencies coming into FileNet.
• Assist with Atlas and IBM Records Manager implementation for agencies.
• Utilize IBM's System Monitor for proactive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and usage reporting.
• Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for the Enterprise Content Management system.
• Handle second tier support for the IBM ECM Environments to debug ECM related issues where appropriate. Can utilize footprints to manage ECM support tickets.
• Provide knowledge sharing on FileNet products to BEST Operations Teams.
• Familiar with project management practices and ability to lead projects and project meetings.
• Must have knowledge in FileNet Enterprise Manager, creation of Object Stores and security enablement.
• Knowledge of FileNet best practices related to the configuration and management of the FileNet applications in order to ensures acceptable performance.
• Be proficient in these areas: Linux on system z, RedHat Linux Enterprise Server, IBM z/VM, networking protocols HTTP and TCP/IP, Fiber channel protocols, Storage area Network, IBM ECM, WebSphere and WebSphere ND, and other related Filenet Products.
• Provide effective, clear communication (oral and written) to management, technical staff and non-technical agency partners and vendors. Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment, be able to juggle multiple projects, and have effective time management skills.
• Have the ability to create SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for help desk personnel to diagnose incidents.
• Will be trained in Datacap Administration as to perform Datacap Administrative tasks.
• After hour support of FileNet related calls.

 

Technical Skills and Experience Needed:-

• 4+ years of FileNet P8 5.0 (Content engine, Process engine. Application engine) or higher experience (most recent version 5.2 preferred)
• 2+ years with linux (zLinux added plus)
• 2+ years with WAS ND
• 2+ years with RDBMS (DB2 added plus)
• Experience with performance tuning
• Great oral communication skills
• Great troubleshooting skills
• Need to be self-motivated and self-starter
• The following would be added pluses
• Add-on products, ICM, Datacap, Records manager
• DB2 and/or zlinux experience
