Position: MS SQL Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ Month/ Possible 3 Month CTH

JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Role and Expertise:
Install, configure, tune and own MS SQL Server DB in all environments.
6+ years of exposure to MS SQL Server
Expertise in design and develop relational Data Modelling, ER Design, Multi Character DBs.
Understand business requirements and ensure the design supports Data Integrity for long term continuous changes.
Create and maintain T-SQL Queries and Stored procedures, Triggers, functions, etc.
Query optimization & Auditing
Support developers with SQL tasks and collaborate with team
Experience in writing, reading and troubleshooting SQL queries.
Strong in:
Experience with Oracle DB is a plus, understanding Data Model, functions and stored procedures
Experience in Data Migration from Oracle to SQL Server, write scripts and execute with minimal downtime.
Prefer candidates exposed to Azure SQL Database setup, configure and monitoring. Understand
Ensure Data Quality including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, triage data issues
Strong problem solving abilities.
Good to have:
Setup, configure, support MongoDB, preferably in Azure
Writing scripts in any programming languages.
Java, Web Applications, REST API, Web Transactions, JavaScript etc.
