USG direct client is looking for SAP BO Crystal Reports Consultant   _ Raleigh, NC

Job Title: SAP BO Crystal Reports Consultant   

Work Location: Raleigh, NC

Experience (Years): 8-10 Yrs.

Interview Process: Telephonic & Skype

Note: No OPT'S

Technical Skills requirements:

·         5+ yrs. of experience working in SAP Business Objects R4. Expertise and experience in one or more of the BO components including Universe design, Dashboard, WEBI reports and BO Security.

·         5+ yrs. of experience working with various BO technologies - Crystal Reports, Webintelligence, Dashboard manager, report scheduler, etc.

·         5+ yrs. of experience developing complex universes to satisfy variety of business reporting needs.

·         Strong Oracle PL-SQL development skill including stored procedures and triggers is preferred.

·         Experience in Informatica ETL a plus

·         Thorough understanding of database structure and dimensional data models is a must for this job.

·         Minimum 7 years' experience in computer science system design and development or related field.

·         Excellent analysis and technical communication skills.

Primary responsibilities:

·         Analyze reporting requirements and develop comprehensive understanding of the reports and underlying data needed to support it.

·         Develop report design including the report layout, data definition for all the data supporting reports and logic for the performance measures captured in the reports.

·         Select the right BO technology to implement the report – Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboard Manager or Performance Manager.

·         Design and develop and modify the existing universe to support the reports development.

·         Implement report/dashboard using one or more BO technology stated above or BO SDK as appropriate.

·         Test and validate the report and the data showing up in reports.

·         Respond to adhoc data request supplied by various CBP operational units, which includes:

·         Understand the data request and interact with client/requestor to obtain clarification if required

·         Develop adhoc reports using existing universe or developing SQL

·         Validate the response

·         Participate in weekly team meetings.

·         Work in collaborative team environment following Rapid Application Development methodology or Agile methodology.
