Position : SOA Admin

Location : Louisville KY

Duration : Contract

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

The SOA Operations Specialist will partner closely with developers and IT stakeholders to ensure stability and proper operations of the enterprise SOA infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance operations across a large environment including web, Java application and database servers.

• Triage issues reporting by monitoring tools and users

• Service user requests

• Partner with the architecture team to drive automation and continuous improvement

• Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution

• Perform software upgrades and installations as required in support of operational strategy

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

• Minimum 1 years of experience in network-related technologies

• Minimum 1 years of experience working with a Linux platform

• Experience with administration of Oracle WebLogic and/or Database platforms

• Experience with infrastructure at scale

• Working knowledge of modern development tools and practices such as Git, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins

• Qualified System Administrator, with experience using standard tools and techniques (ssh/PuTTY, bash, etc.)

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with other IT professionals and business stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

• Possess a strong drive to provide superior customer service

• Process oriented and committed to superior quality
