Responsibilities:
Working as an administrator for Chef Technology.
Design, build and implement infrastructure automation using Chef to support all global environments
Evangelize sound automation designs and practices .
Participate in the design of larger scale global systems management tools
Develop and maintain documentation, training, and SLAs for managed infrastructure
Keeping the chef-repo synchronized with version source control
Skills & Requirements
Recent experience building automation using Chef
Previous experience implementing a new, large scale configuration management & automation infrastructure for a company with a mix of physical and cloud environments
Significant experience with configuration management in a mission critical production environment
Developing cookbooks and recipes (and authoring them using Ruby)
