Job Description
- Big Data Architect is responsible for creating the Design, Development and Implementation of Big Data Platform for acquiring data from Mechanical devices.
- Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, implementation and support of the application(s) to benefit businesses.
- Design and Development of a Framework for common and consistent use of the intended design for real time streaming of data and batch process based data migration.
- Architect will be responsible for all deliverables from Review of requirements, developing Technical Design Documentation, Validation of test scripts and test cases, coordinate the implementation of the same into production and related support activities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the Architecture, design, development and Implementation of Big Data Applications.
- Selecting the right Big Data tool sets to meet the requirement
- Define the scope of the of multiple Big Data projects within the program
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and Implement Big Data Applications
- Extensive experience application optimization (performance Tuning the application), Big Data – data architecture strategy
- Develop Technical Design documentation, participate in architecture reviews with sr. architects in the organization, collaborate with Data Modeling, FRD and Testing team for successful implementation of planned deliverables with zero defects in time
- Hands experience in developing routines using Spark/ Scala, HIVE, SQOOP and Linux scripting.
Key Deliverables:
- Architect / Design, Lead, Implement Big Data Applications
Qualifications
- Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Data Managament and computing tool like using Java, ETL products and BI / Datawarehousing products
- Must have 2+ year experience working on Big Data Technologies, preferably Java, Spark and Big data tools like Hive, Scala, Pig, etc.,.
- BS or MS in Computer Science
- Skills Need for this position include a combination of:
- Big Data – Spark, Impala, Hiva, Scala, Kafka, Hadoop (HDP), Sqoop
- Teradata
- Cassendra
Position 3
HFM Consultant
Louisville, KY
12 months contract
Role Description
- HFM Consultant will be part of project delivery and responsible for the following activities:
- Work like HFM SPOC for the client
- Assisting in the design of Financial consolidation and Reporting solution.
- Design and development of HFM application including the Consolidation model, data forms, business rules, process management, custom menus, application security, etc.
- Assisting in the design and creation of financial reports based on the HFM application(s).
- Assisting in the preparation of system documentation (Design document, Test Cases, etc) and training material.
- Perform Unit Testing and System Integration Testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing.
- Assisting in Production deployment and rollout.
Required Experience
- 8-10 yrs of Oracle Hyperion experience with at least 3-4 HFM implementations.
- Preferably worked with the latest version of Oracle Hyperion - i.e. 11.1.2.4.
- Sound knowledge of basic performance optimization techniques in HFM applications.
- Well versed in designing and implementing Consolidation Model, Business Rules, Data Forms/ Grids, Security, configuration of HFM application etc.
- Experience in designing and implementing medium to complex financial reports using HFR.
- Hands-on experience in developing scripts to meet specific consolidation, intercomapny elimination, minority accounting requirements.
- Good documentation, communication and articulation skills.
- Experience with EPMA implementation will be an added benefit.
Tool/Technology Skills
- Must have hands-on experience in working with the following tools/technologies:
- Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
- Oracle Hyperion Calculation Manager.
- Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting.
- Oracle Hyperion Smart View for Office.
Note: Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion FDM/FDMEE, Oracle EPMA and/or other Oracle Hyperion tools will be an added benefit.

Role Description
